How do I know if this is the right choice for us?

We’ve been genuinely excited about the overwhelming popularity of our virtual birthday parties across all ages and types of kids and we’re confident that we can find the right blend of our birthday “secret sauce” to entertain anyone from “feisty four-year-old” to “too-cool tween” to “skeptical sports fanatic teen” and beyond. We also aim to be easy and low maintenance, with little tech knowledge needed for you as a parent. That said, it’s your responsibility to invite your guests and login to the party. If your inclination should we say “cut and paste the link” is to get paper and scissors, this might not be the best option for you.

Do you sing Happy Birthday?

Of course! A quick disclaimer: singing in unison is IMPOSSIBLE over zoom, but we do our best . . . and with “Happy Birthday,” it’s always the thought that counts! 😊

Can you include a "blow-out-the-candles-and-cut-the-cake" moment?

Absolutely! Just let us know in advance and we will plan that moment into your party. Just one word to the wise: we have observed that after a cake-cutting, the birthday child usually becomes more interested in eating cake than looking at Zoom. For this reason, we will usually save it until the end of the party!

What package should I choose?

Usually, the two most important factors in determining your package are the length of time you’re looking for and the number of guests you are expecting (we think in terms of “screens”, so families count as one guest). Our Special Package is most popular, but if you’re throwing a party for a pre-k child or younger, your base package might cover enough time for that age. If you’re the type of parent that likes to “go big,” you’ll want the Special Package Plus, which includes the most guests and additional planning time prior to the party.

What if we end up needing more screens? Can we upgrade our package?

If you’re upgrading to the Special Package (up to 25 screens), we simply ask that you let us know at least two days in advance and pay the difference before the start of the party. Upgrading to the Special Plus Package requires additional considerations and planning on our end, so this change is subject to availability.

When do I need to make a decision about booking?

We require all birthday bookings to be completed no later than the Monday prior to the weekend of your party (weekday parties require 4 business days). Due to the volume and quick turnaround of virtual birthday parties, we cannot guarantee a time slot for a birthday until complete payment is made on the payment portal of our website and we’ve replied in kind to confirm. Do not delay! We often fill up weeks in advance. 

When do I get the link? How do I share it with guests?

After you confirm dates/details and pay for your party, you will receive the zoom link in a confirmation email from us within 3 business days. We put together some suggestions and tips that you will want to include in your digital invitation.

Please Note: Due to the volume of parties we host, we are unable to help with the design or detail of your invitation.

Can I see videos of past parties that you've done?

In the interest of protecting the privacy of our families, we do not share videos of previous parties on our website. However, we do have a short video that we can share privately upon request. We will ask you not to share this out, as we appreciate the privacy of you and your party guests! 

Can you have someone dress up as a specific cartoon character?

Due to copyright laws, our hosts cannot dress up as a specific character from a cartoon or movie. However, we can customize your activities and games around any theme to give your child a personalized experience that they will love! 

Can guests stay on the zoom link afterward to chat?

Due to our busy birthday party schedule, we cannot leave the link open indefinitely. Guests are welcome to chat as they arrive at the beginning (the link will be open 15 minutes before the party starts), and we also allow a 10-minute grace period after the party has officially ended.

When will I get the recording of the party?

If you selected our Special or Special Plus Package, you will receive a recording of your party within one week from the date of your party via a secure dropbox link. Your file will be accessible for approximately one month. Don’t forget to download it!

Can I tip my hosts?

Your experience with us is all-inclusive, meaning that there are no additional fees for any of the services included in the package you choose. That said, many parents inquire about tips for the hosts for doing an exemplary job. In the email sent to you 2 days prior to your birthday, we will include the Venmo account for your hosts. TIPPING IS NON-OBLIGATORY.
