Alex Oleksy

Alex Oleksy - Theater Director, Trail's End Camp

Alexander Oleksy is an NYC-based director and teaching artist originally from The Woodlands, TX. Currently studying Educational Theatre at NYU Steinhardt, Alex has focused on developing new works and helping young audiences fall in love with exciting and accessible theatre like he did in middle and high school.

Alie Karambash - Theater Director, Bender JCC of Greater Washington

Alie is a love-oriented student and theatre artist and global citizen excited for a fun-packed summer of exciting activities! Alie's biggest passions are community, education, and action through art to create a more sustainable world and a future full of empathy of great potential for peace, life, and love.

Dean Marino

Dean Marino - Theater Director, Eisner Camp

Dean is a professional actor based in NYC who is currently also studying for his Masters in Educational Theater and English Education at NYU Steinhardt. Previously he has also had the opportunity to sail and work as a performer with Disney Cruise Line, which was a dream come true. Dean hopes to share his love of theatre, games, movies, and Broadway with everyone he meets!

Destiny Howell

Destiny Howell - Dance Specialist, Pozez JCC of Northern Virginia

Hello! My name is Destiny and I’m from a little bit of here, there, and everywhere. Born to military parents, my life has been structured and set in stone. Dance is my passion and I’ve dreamed of becoming a professional dancer since I was a little girl. I want to start teaching young ones the beautiful art of dance, specifically hip-hop, and hope that they can learn from my teachings as well as have fun while doing so.

Drew Ravitz

Drew Ravitz - LIT Supervisor, Camp Poyntelle

Drew Ravitz is a recent graduate from Elon University, with a BFA in Acting. He loves comics, his home state of Texas and, you guessed it, acting! He could not be more psyched to share what he knows at camp.

Gabriella Giocomo

Gabriella Giocomo - Theater Director, GUCI

Gaby is a writer, director, performer, and arts administrator. She has loved theatre and storytelling her entire life, and is excited to share her passions with campers this summer!

Jake Schwartz

Jake Schwartz - Theater Director, BT Camps

Jake Schwartz is a senior at the University of Maryland studying Theatrical Education & Diversity Studies. Schwartz has been involved in the Baltimore Theatre Scene as an actor/director for the past 11 years and is thrilled to be working with mainstages and BT Camps this summer!

Jessica Pomeroy

Jessica Pomeroy - Theater Director, Day Camps@The J

Jessica pulls on her experience as a musical theatre performer and director as well as her experience as a nanny to create fun, enriching lessons for students of all ages. Her goal is to build life skills while teaching professional-level theatrical techniques. She directed a production of Willy Wonka at JCC Stamford last summer, and she can't wait for this year!

JOrdan Cohen

Jordan Cohen - Theater Director, JCamp SHINES

Jordan is an LA-based comedian, writer, and performer thrilled to combine her love for theater and her love for kiddos! Jordan has 10+ years of childcare experience and has been seen producing, directing, and performing her way across Chicago since 2014. Now you'll catch Jordan out west, begging the sun to spare her pale, pale skin.

Kaela Steinbrenner - Dance Specialist, Camp Twelve Trails

Kaela (she/her) is a senior at Long Island University where she's pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre. She has been dancing since the age of 8 and has no plans to stop. She comes to you all the way from Texas and is thrilled to share her love of performance.

Kara Joy Fish

Kara Joy Fish - Theater Director, Mid-Island Day Camp

Kara Joy Fish is ecstatic about getting to be a teaching artist with mainstages this summer. She hails from Texas but currently goes to Long Island University Post as a Musical Theatre major with an Arts Management minor. Kara Joy strives to harbor a welcoming environment everywhere she goes and can't wait to bring the magic of theatre to campers of all ages.

Kat Garcia

Kat Garcia - Theater Teaching Artist, Trail's End Camp

Kat Sloan Garcia is a current student at Marymount Manhattan College studying Theatre Producing and Management and Writing for the Stage, as well as Art History. She's been involved in various virtual theater productions and writing projects over the last year. When not sitting in a dark theatre, she's a "mediocre" musician and an excellent baker/cook.

Katherine Hebert

Katherine Hebert - Theater Specialist, Camp Settoga

Katherine Hebert is a performer and teaching artist with a BFA in musical theatre from Montclair State University. Since graduating she has been seen in "Medea, "Social Studies the Musical, and TLP's "Christmas Kaleidoscope"; she has also worked on an educational show "Little Fish." She has also held teaching artist positions at Timberlake Playhouse and Franco's Summer Camp. She's excited to continue to share the joys of performing through education by working with mainstages.

Kelly Astuto

Kelly Astuto - Master of Fun, Emma Kaufmann Camp

Kelly Astuto is a recent graduate of Florida State University with a BA in Theatre and a double major in Media Communication Studies. When she isn't performing, she loves watching football, spending time with friends and creating art. In the future, she hopes to further her performance career in both film and stage productions!

Lance Ruggiero

Lance Ruggiero - Theater Specialist, Everwood Day Camp

Lance Ruggiero is a graduate from Eastern Michigan University with his MFA in Applied Drama and Theatre for the Young. He received his BA in Fine and Performing Arts with a concentration in Theatre from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. Outside of camp, Lance works as a technical director. He has a passion for teaching and creating theatre!

Michelle Cage

Michelle Cage - Theater Specialist, Day Camp at the JCC

Michelle Cage is an early-career theatre artist who has enjoyed numerous collaborations with NYC companies like Urban Stages Theatre, The Skeleton Rep(resents), and HEREWEGO. Having graduated from The New School '19 with a focus in playwriting and education, she works to spread more self-acceptance, bravery, and a sense of play in every single classroom she enters.

Michelle Pavloff - Theater Specialist, Camp Kehilla

Michelle is a senior BFA Theatre Arts Major with a concentration in performance at Hofstra University. This is her first summer at Camp Kehilla and she is so excited to play and share her passion of theater with everyone! She loves music, dancing, and games, so this summer should be lots of fun for all involved!

Nia Soyemi

Nia Soyemi - Music Specialist, Camp Twelve Trails

Nia is a musical theater and contemporary artist based in New York City. She has performed in many cities both nationwide and internationally; selected credits include performing God Bless America at the WNBA Liberty Games and appearing in Hairspray on Broadway. She is also a proud member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG), American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA), and Actors Equity Association (AEA), as well as the Harlem Arts Alliance. She's happy to spend this summer with everyone at camp!

Pippa McGinley

Pippa McGinley - Theater Specialist, Emma Kaufmann Camp

Pippa McGinley has been a camper for the last 10 years and a theater practioner for 17, and she's excited for the opportunity to combine both! She's looking forward to exploring different theatrical techniques and cultures with her campers this summer, and to having fun doing so!

Sabrina Kalman

Sabrina Kalman - Theater Specialist, Camp Yomi

Sabrina is a New York-based theater performer and teaching artist. She's excited to spend the summer with children getting creative, exploring imagination, and making lasting memories. Heads up to everyone involved: "we are going to get out of our comfort zones, challenge ourselves, and most importantly have loads and loads of fun!"
