Join us on Saturday, March 11, for an immersive Shabbat spectacular where performers will bring Shabbat to life through interactive games, performance, puppetry, storytelling, crafts, and more!
Second Saturdays evolved from a need to provide children ages toddler to 8 years old with creative and engaging Shabbat experiences that will help formulate and strengthen Jewish identity. mainstages and Sid Jacobson JCC team up to deliver innovative Jewish creative programming for children up ages three to eight and their families.

Join our puppet friend, Koofi (monkey in Hebrew) to hear about this month’s theme- peace, and enjoy a healthy, snack.

About A Beary Purim Shabbat!
It’s Purim at Bubbe’s house when participants stumble upon a magical book and suddenly find themselves on a journey to different worlds!
In this original interactive Shabbat experience, Winnie the Pooh awakes from hibernation for a Purim party and teaches the importance of friendship and different perspectives, Matilda shares the benefits of perseverance, and Peter (A Snowy Day) invites participants to prepare for the spring and stay curious about the joy that new adventures can bring.
Participants are encouraged to come in Purim costume to get on stage to meet some of their favorite literary characters!
