Eva Casey, Teaching Artist, Performer, Program & Performance Coordinator
Eva has been teaching and performing with mainstages for over a year now and is very excited to be joining the team assisting in the essential coordination of mainstages performances and programs. As a performer, Eva has an extensive resume in educational theatre. As a teaching artist, she specializes in devised theatre, improv, and musical theatre. Jules McCarthy, Performer
Jules is a performer and theatre educator originally from Westchester, New York. She received her B.A. in theatre from Smith College in 2015 and has been working in education and performing in various film projects and regional theatre productions ever since. Her dream is to combine her love of theatre and working with kids to create a life of creativity, community, and exploration.
Nicole Ehrhard, Teaching Artist
Nicole is a recent graduate from SUNY Purchase with a degree in Theatre and Performance: Directing. She is a New York based stage director whose heart lies in creating new musicals. Most recently, Nicole directed The Lion King: KIDS at her old Elementary School and she is super excited to work with young minds again.
Maya Evans, Teaching Artist
Since earning her BFA from NYU Tisch, Maya has worked as a performer, director, producer, and teaching artist. This summer, she directed four musicals for the youth academy at the White Plains Performing Arts Center. Maya is a Musical Theatre Factory affiliated artist and a member of the Paramount Hudson Valley Theater Company.
Ryan Johnson, Performer
Ryan is Detroit Native, a master artist and passionate educator. He graduated with a BFA in acting from Southern Methodist University and MA in Educational Theatre from NYU. Ryan enriches the lives of students by providing opportunities for arts engagement on artistic/educational platforms.
Olivia Montaudouin, Director of Foreign Language Programming
Olivia has over 15 years experience in foreign language administration and teaching. She grew up in France, studying linguistics at the Sorbonne. She oversees the dual language Detective Lingo performance series, where she uses her expertise to develop age-appropriate vocabulary and innovative program ideas. Rebecca Pomeranz, Teaching Artist
Rebecca graduated from NYU where she studied theatre and child and adolescent mental studies. She has performed in over 10 off broadway musicals. She loves sharing her passion for the stage with others and hopes to inspire aspiring artists to follow their dreams.
Jessica Pomeroy, Teaching Artist
Jessica Ashleigh Pomeroy is an NYC based director, producer, performer and teaching artist, who will be graduating this month from The New School for Drama with her BFA. Jessica grew up in Connecticut, where she first discovered her love of theatre, a love that only grew as she got older, and that she is passionate about sharing with young people. Jessica looks to bring professional level performance training to young performers, and seeks to do just that through her training and experience as a singer, actor and director.
Sarah Spangenberg, Teaching Artist & Performer
Sarah has spent the last few years as a teaching artist and performer in Philadelphia in NYC. She has taught Pre- K, Musical Theatre, and is involved heavily in Jewish education including work with mainstages as the Theater Director for Camp Twelve Trails, a director, and a performer. Sarah graduated with a BFA in Theatre Arts from The University of the Arts.
Jas Spencer, Teaching Artist & Performer
Jas grew up in Vermont and moved to New York City to pursue his love of acting. He is a graduate of CAP21 Conservatory and recently completed touring with Missoula Children's Theater for 15 months, including overseas. Special skills include bad jokes, and knowing WAY too much about Star Wars.
