It’s the night before Purim at Bubbe’s house and 10-year-old Maya stumbles upon a magical book in her attic. An avid reader, Maya cracks the book open and suddenly finds herself on a journey to different worlds! In this original interactive performance, Winnie the Pooh awakes from hibernation for a Purim party and teaches the importance of friendship and different perspectives, Matilda shares the benefits of perseverance, and Peter (A Snowy Day) invites participants to prepare for the spring and stay curious about the joy that new adventures can bring. Participants are encouraged to come in Purim costume to get on stage to meet some of their favorite literary characters!
