Currently available positions are listed below. Camp contracts are typically 8 weeks in length (June–August). Day camp positions require local applicants with access to a vehicle or proximity to reliable public transportation to the location. These are in-person jobs, and all COVID-19 safety protocols will be in place!
The Master of Fun at this gorgeous sleepaway camp in Massachusetts will be tasked with performing various tasks including but not limited to playing fun theatre-themed games with campers, putting together small-scale performances at camp, DJing or MCing events, and generally bringing the upbeat, fun camp vibe everywhere they go. This long-standing, traditional camp is full of loyal, returning campers and staff. A great applicant for this position will have a variety of performing arts skills, in addition to being extremely adaptable and enthusiastic!
Dates: June 27-August 15, Room and Board provided on campgrounds.
The LIT Supervisor at this beautiful camp in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, will be responsible for developing and leading programming for the oldest group of campers, also known as Leaders in Training. In addition to supervising and running their programming, the staff member will have the opportunity to collaborate with the camp’s Master of Fun and participate actively in general elements of the camp from color war to evening activities and more. The camp has an incredible culture built on many returning campers and staff, which means that this position, which is all about developing leadership skills in the next “generation” of staff, is all the more exciting!

This long island day camp serves an amazing group of young people with a variety of special needs. The theatre specialist for this camp will be leading activity periods for all age groups on rotation throughout the day, providing campers with an introduction to theatre and an awesome experience. A great candidate for this job should feel comfortable teaching theatre while working in an environment including campers with a diverse set of needs and a range of abilities. Experience with special needs youth is a plus!
Dates: June 28-August 20, M-F
This DC-area day camp serves campers with a variety of interests throughout the summer on a beautiful campground in Maryland. The theatre director will be responsible for leading theater activities and running rehearsals that culminate in a show with campers. A strong candidate for this position will be organized, driven, flexible, and demonstrate the ability to take ownership of the theatre program and ensure that the production is carried out successfully, while the kids have a great time in the process.
Dates: June 21-August 6, M-F
This day camp located just north of Manhattan boasts a unique model in that they split their program areas into “neighborhoods,” which kids can sign up to be in for a given week. For the last five years, mainstages has run all aspects of the CREATE neighborhood, including theater, dance, photography, graffiti, and pretty much any other cool idea that a staff member can bring to the table. The camp has consistent leadership and a high staff return rate, and it offers bus transportation from the Upper East and West sides of Manhattan. The Music and Dance Specialists will be leading activity periods for all age groups on rotation throughout the day, providing campers with a range of experience in these areas a friendly and fun introduction to their discipline.
