Embark on a thrilling adventure with the lucky children who win a golden ticket to paradise island! But paradise isn’t what it seems – the caretaker, Dee Forest, has evil plans to steal their inner sunshine and joy. As the families unite, they discover a magical solution to help convince Dee Forest to give back to the earth and watch as the island transforms into a true paradise. Join us on this musical journey featuring show-stopping hits like “I’ve Got a Golden Ticket” from Willy Wonka, the enchanting “Be Our Guest” from Beauty and the Beast, the timeless “Hard Knock Life” from Annie, the empowering “Let It Go” from Frozen, and the irresistible “You Can’t Stop The Beat” from Hairspray.
Acting! Singing! Dancing!...It takes all three to become a “Triple Threat”! In this showcase program participants will explore and build their vocal performance, acting technique, movement skills, and off-stage role knowledge while working toward a final showcase presented at the program’s end for family and friends.

Rehearsals
ALL rehearsals take place in the Berkeley Elementary School GYM beginning Friday, February 23, 2024. Rehearsals are closed to the public.
Day of the Week: Fridays
Time: 3:30-5:00 PM
Dress Rehearsal & Showcase Performance
The Dress Rehearsal and Showcase Performance will be held in The Hurley Theater at Westwood Regional High School, 701 Ridgewood Rd, Township of Washington, NJ 07676. Parents/Guardians must provide transportation for participants to the High School on both of these program dates.
Dress Rehearsal - Thursday, May 30th* from 4:15 - 6:15 PM
Showcase Performance - Friday, May 31st at 6:00 PM. Participants are called to the High School for a 4:15 PM program start time. Auditorium doors open at 5:45 PM.
Participants must bring a hearty snack for the extended Dress Rehearsal (5/30), mainstages provides a Pizza Cast Party prior to the Showcase Performance (5/31).
Cost: $375/Participant
A FULL PROGRAM SCHEDULE is provided below with exact dates, times, and locations for all 14 program dates!
Registration is $375 for Each Participant and Includes:
- Elevated theatrical training in acting, voice, and movement, along with an introduction to the world of off-stage roles and responsibilities!
- 12 1.5 hour rehearsal sessions, 1 two-hour dress rehearsal and a live showcase performance directed by mainstages professional theater director
- A Show Poster and Playbill
- Rehearsal Guides and Showcase Scripts
- A Certificate of Achievement
- A Pizza Cast Party!

Family Engagement
We keep parents informed in a multitude of ways:
- The program begins with a Zoom meeting on Thursday, February 15th @ 7 PM ET for families for us to share expectations and outline the program.
- Families have access to an online portal that provides schedules, resources, and reminders for the cast.
- Email correspondence with mainstages administration throughout the program with production updates and rehearsal news.
