mainstages Theater Camp Long Island

Take center stage at mainstages Theater Camp!

A theatrical partnership between Mid Island YJCC Day Camps and mainstages!

Enjoy the best elements of the traditional day camp experience in a supportive Performing Arts environment led by a nationally renowned professional children’s theater company.

“Whether you are an experienced young actor or someone looking to fine-tune your skills, this camp is for you!”

Led by professional Teaching Artists and Theater Directors, mainstages takes a process-oriented approach that focuses on the 4 C’s of theater: Community, Character, Confidence & Creativity. In doing so, we ensure that children are focusing on the bigger picture, strengthening communication and teamwork.

We know that no theatrical production is possible without the collaboration and joint vision of a community working towards the same goal.  That’s why we strive to create an experience that captures each camper’s special skills, makes each camper feel valued, and gives each camper time in the spotlight.
